Recruitment

Recruitment is aimed at acquiring new skills necessary to strengthen collaborations between the different disciplines of the Department but also to open new lines of research on the three topics identified in the project: energy transition, health and environment.

In particular, the recruitment of an Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry allows to implement the Department’s organic chemistry synthesis skills. Moreover, X-CHEM Project co-funds the recruitment of five Tenure Track Assistant Profs. (RTDb/RTT). X-CHEM will supply funds to new researchers, in order to start independently their scientific activities.

University co-funding will be used too to recruit two technologist/technician personnel units with chemical/physical/electronic skills for running up new instruments. Two new administrative staff resources will be added to meet management needs.
