The research title is &#8220;<b>3D evaluation of maxillary morphology in Marfan growing subjects: a controlled clinical study&#8221;&nbsp;<\/b>and it has been discussed<b>&nbsp;<\/b>during the&nbsp;SIDO 49th International Congress in Florence \u2013 October 12-13, 2018.<br>This scientific award was given to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Italian Orthodontic Society.&nbsp;The research was possible as a good scientific collaboration between Dr Giuseppina Lagan\u00e0 Orthodontic Department (Head: Prof. Paola Cozza) and the&nbsp;Centre for Rare Diseases, for Marfan Syndrome and Related Disorders (Head: Prof. Giovanni Ruvolo).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Valeria Paoloni PhD Student (XXXI cycle) and Giuseppina Lagan\u00e0 (PhD XXIX cycle) won the Best Research Award with a paper demonstrating the usefulness of Orthodontics for patients&#8217; oral and general health.
