Gianfranco Bocchinfuso e Lorenzo Stella hanno contribuito a individuare il gene le cui mutazioni sono la causa della sindrome di Primrose, una rara malattia genetica caratterizzata da ritardo mentale, macrocefalia e diabete. Lo studio \u00e8 frutto di una collaborazione internazionale, che ha coinvolto gruppi italiani, olandesi, svedesi, britannici, polacchi, brasiliani e statunitensi.
