Raffaella is one of the only two researchers worldwide selected for this honor at the organization\u2019s symposium on \u201cDiamond Functional&nbsp;Devices \u2014 From Material to Applications\u201d that will take place in&nbsp;Boston next December, on occasion of the 2024 MRS Fall Meeting &amp; Exhibit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As an \u201cEarly Career Distinguished Presenter\u201d for the MRS symposium,&nbsp;Raffaella will be formally acknowledged on meeting signage and with&nbsp;publication in MRS Communications, recognizing her important&nbsp;individual contributions to her field and to amplifying exciting new&nbsp;directions for the materials research community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/stc.uniroma2.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/EC-F24_Raffaella-Salerno.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">View nomination letter<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Materials Research Society has awarded our PhD student Raffaela Salerno the title of \u201cMRS Early Career Distinguished Presenter\u201d.
