About Us<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The X-CHEM Lab<\/strong> is the advanced characterization laboratory of the Department of Chemical Science and Technologies at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. It was established within the framework of the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR) Departments of Excellence 2023\u20132027<\/strong> project, X-CHEM \u2013 eXpanding CHEMistry: Implementing Excellence in Research and Teaching.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

The laboratory offers specialized expertise and state-of-the-art infrastructure for the morphological, structural, chemical, and functional characterization of innovative materials and devices. Through an integrated approach based on microscopy and spectroscopy techniques, the X-CHEM Lab<\/strong> enables the correlation of the structure, composition, and properties of materials across different length scales, from the micro- to the nanoscale, fostering the development of new technological solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mission<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mission of the X-CHEM Lab<\/strong> is to promote interdisciplinary research and innovation by providing advanced services and expertise in materials characterization across the fields of chemistry, materials science, nanotechnology, energy, the environment, and biomaterials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The laboratory supports universities, research institutions, and companies in the development and optimization of emerging materials and technologies by offering qualified scientific expertise, advanced instrumentation, and opportunities for collaboration and technology transfer. By enhancing knowledge and creating synergies between fundamental and applied research, the X-CHEM Lab<\/strong> contributes to addressing the technological and industrial challenges of the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
