Researchers
Angelo LEMBO
Ricercatore TDa SSD: CHIM/03Stanza: AB – 6Biographical Info
From 2008 to 2015, in collaboration with Dyesol Italia s.r.l. (a subsidiary of Dyesol Australia now GreatCell Solar Material) and C.H.O.S.E. (Center for Hybrid and Organic Solar Energy of Polo Solare Regione Lazio), as work package leader of Dyepower Consortium, he was involved in the industrial development of the Dye Sensitized Solar Cells technology for Building Integrated Photovoltaics, being responsible for the synthesis of new dyes and electrolytes and for the stability studies of final working device in compliance with IEC 61646 standard.
From 2016 to 2021 he worked in Drug Metabolism and PhamacoKinetic (DMPK) Department at IRBM SpA in the field the Huntington disease, as responsible for the MetID studies of new drugs.
At the moment he’s within the VIPERLAB project (EU’s Horizon 2020 framework) for “Fully connected virtual and physical perovskite photovoltaics lab”. The project aim is to promote and develop the perovskite solar cell technology, identified as the key emerging photovoltaic technology that will be the lever for a future market penetration of EU-based PV production.
The project involves many different international European University and Research Centers (Ecole Polytechnique Federale De Lausanne; IMEC Internuversitair Micro-Electronica Centrum VZW Fraunhofer Gesellschaft Zur Foerderung Der Angewandten Forschung E.V; ENEA; AIT Austrian Institute Of Technology…) and it was coordinated by Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin Fur Materialien Und Energie GMBH – Germany.
His actual research field is focused on the synthesis of porphyrin systems for catalysis (oxidation and carbon-carbon bond formation) and photovoltaic application, carbon-based (C60, SWCNT, graphene) materials-porphyrin conjugates for electron transfer systems and organic electronics.
