MACROMOLECULES
|
Macromolecules are ubiquitous in everyone's life as materials and as fundamental participants for a huge number of life processes. For this reason the study of macromolecules is a topic crossing different disciplines, i.e. from the molecular biology to material science. Physical chemistry approach has demonstrated to be a valuable investigative tool since the very beginning of the macromolecular science, supplying the frame for the understanding of several aspect of polymers. In this respect, frontier subject such as polymeric "soft matter" is a typical challenging domain for spectroscopists, theoreticians, synthetic chemists. Our group is engaged in research projects involving macromolecules briefly described in the links of this site. All of them are mainly concerned with the understanding and with the mimicking of materials and processes of relevance in life science. |
