Professor Francesco Ricci has been selected as recipient of  the “Advances in Measurement Science Lectureship Award”

The award is jointly assigned by ACS Analytical Chemistry Journals (Analytical Chemistry, ACS Sensors, and Journal of Proteome Research) and by the ACS Analytical Chemistry Division and is intended to honor members of the community who have made a major recent impact in the field of measurement science, with winners selected on the basis of their lecture abstracts and their research output during the past five years.

Francesco Ricci’s DNA-based nanomachines and nanodevices have been considered to push the limits of sensing, drug delivery and measurement science. Ricci’s synthetic nucleic acid probes have great potential in a wide range of point of care diagnostics.

The award has been presented during the conference Pittcon 2018, recently held  in Orlando (Florida, USA).

Bravo Francesco and keep up your excellent work!
