Department Chair receives award

IMG_0119Professor Silvia Licoccia, Deputy Rector for research and Department Chair, has been selected as recipient of the 2018 AICIng Award for Distinguished Scientific and Educational achievements.

AICIng (Italian Association Chemistry for Engineering) joins Chemistry Professors in the Engineering degrees of Italian Universities.

The award is attributed every two years and has been presented during the 11th AiCIng Congres, held in Bologna (September 10-12, 2018). Professor Licoccia delivered a lecture “MaDE@UTV: the “she” energy” presenting the most significan results achieved by the group Materials and Devices for Energy at University of Rome Tor Vergata, discussed in the framework of the University Mission and Vision focused on sustainability.
